Meissner Day Fun & Games

We’ve got a few fun things planned for Meissner Day – and not just for the kids. So we hope all ages are ready to play!

The Meissner Memorial 5k Run-Walk-Relay is planned to start at 8:30 am. Time may be adjusted if the weather skews significantly hotter than the current forecast of a daily high of 85 degrees.

Claudia has planned two scavenger hunts – one for Robert & Phyllis’ grandkids and another for their great-grandkids.

Just like some of the past years, we’ll have a pinata this year – but there’s a twist yet to be revealed! 😊

Some other games and activities that are available to be played, if desired:

The large, large version

Also known as Lawn Yahtzee

Not an official golf course version, but a fun activity nonetheless.

The newest fascination…

The old standby…

And of course many different card games we’ve always loved playing!

Red Cabin Bar Fun!

Check out – and try out – some of the house drinks featured in the Red Cabin Bar Menu.

We planned some fun and games we can do while hanging in the RCB if the spirit moves us.

We put together a playlist of songs that may – or may not- be easy to name within the first few seconds of the song.

Inspired by a spur-of-the-moment creation of this game at our most recent scrapbook retreat, we put together a playlist of songs that may make most of us think of the same movie – or may make us think of various movies. Will be fun to see what different songs remind people of…

Draw a topic from the jar and talk about it like an expert would for 2 minutes or less!

Play a single game of darts – or we can organize a tournament!

We also have various trivia games we can pull out and see who knows what obscure facts.
